ExportExport customs regulation for used personal effects and household goods Generally for export customs clearance of personal effects we’ll need:
1. Notarized Power of attorney + 2 notarized copies (text will be provided) – for road and sea shipments!!!
For air shipment consignee will have to present on customs.
2. Copy of passport, Russian visa, registration, work permit with company stamp
3. Letter from company where you had worked in Russia (text will be provided)
4. List of exported books (The list must content information about title, name of author, publishing office and year of publishing)
5. Copy of air ticket
6. Valued inventory
7. Original of certificate of temporary import
Generally for export customs clearance of cars we’ll need:
1. Notarized Power of attorney + 2 notarized copies (text will be provided)
2. Letter from company where you had worked in Russia (text will be provided)
3. Copy of passport, Russian visa, registration, work permit with employer stamp
4. Copy of technical passport with company stamp
5. Copy of original title before and after un-registration in GIBDD (both sides)
6. Original title
7. Original of certificate of temporary import
Customs clearance of items having “cultural value”:
If in export shipment there are paintings, music instruments (piano, bow instruments), sculptures, handicrafts, non-electric samovars, hand made carpets or itmes age of which is over 50 years special export permits issued by Ministry of Culture will be required.
Items over 100 years old, excepting books, can not be exported, if these items were not registered by customs upon entry into Russia.
If items over 50 years old are imported and not registered, it will be necessary to get special permits from Ministry of culture for export them from Russia

Insurance terms and conditions (for household goods and personal effects):
General rate for insurance against “All Risks” – 2.5 % of goods value
Goods value is stated by the customer and must correspond to real value of goods.
For insurance arrangement we ask the client to fulfill special insurance form and show the value and quantity of different categories of goods (form will be provided). On the base of stated value insurance company completes compensation. In case if you have some “special items” value of which differs from other stuff it, should be stated separately.
Permanent condition: Deductible on personal effects damages coverage 200-250 Euro
